The packages include

  • FARADIP software package (reliability data and failure mode analysis),
  • COMPARE package (Quantified Reliability Maintenance calculations),
  • BETAPLUS (an original common cause failure model),
  • TTREE (a fault tree package),
  • ZONECHECK (assessment of flammable atmosphere)
  • LOPA (Levels of Protection Analysis) tool.

In addition, David provides the Technis Certificate (and Diploma) in Reliability and Functional Safety based on an academically based (but nevertheless highly practical) course which is accredited by IGEM and IAQA and ESC. The course is unique of its type and is based on 2 of his books

  • Reliability, Maintainability and Risk, 9th Edition, D J Smith, Elsevier (Butterworth Heinemann) ISBN 978008102010-4. (The standard work on the subject)
